Condo Associations, Condo Associations, Condo Associations- Madison, WI and Surrounding Communities
When choosing where to buy a condo in the Madison, WI area many things have to be considered. Just a few are:
- How close should I live to work?
- What if there are 2 jobs in the household? Do we live closer to one than the other or split the difference?
- High Rise Building or Private Entrance Ranch Style?
- Rural Setting or City Setting?
- What kind of neighborhood are we looking for?
- Large Condo Association or Small Condo Association?
- What types of amenities (if any) provided by the Condo Association are important to me?
- Is an association block party really a good time?
- What other association activities happen during the year?
- Does this particular Condo Association allow dogs?
- Etc...Etc...Etc...
The answer to some of these questions you have to answer for yourself. Some questions can be answered by checking out a copy of the Condo Docs for that particular Association.
But for the answers to some of these (and other) questions you really need something more. Something like a website specific to the association that you are interested in. Many different people can tell you their views of a condo association but I have found that the best information is usually provided by those who actually live there.
As with every category of websites there is the good, the bad, and the ugly. Oh yeah...I forgot one...non-existant. Websites/pages dedicated to the different condo associations in Madison are hard to find. I hope to over time add links to the "Neighborhood" Drop Down Menu on the right hand column of this blog for many of the condo associations located in the Madison, WI area.
