Thank goodness.
Our Madison, WI area MLS (SCWMLS) has decided that enough is enough. Recently they have switched from having a picture of a house with "No Picture Available" to leaving the box blank for agents who choose not to at least have a single picture of a property for sale.
On www.WisconsinHomes.com it looks a lot like this:
It may seem like a small thing but when you see the blank box it now seems to scream "Shoot some pictures...at least one...PLEASE!"
Personally I would like to see our MLS implement something like a "1 week grace period". If after one week of being listed on the MLS anything less than 5 photos are uploaded- 0 photos show until the minimum of 5 has been met. There are times that a listing goes online and you can't get any inside photos because of cleaning, painting, repairs, etc. But that shouldn't mean that after a week of being online a home shouldn't be marketed with the basics of a handful of photos.
After all...marketing of a property online in the first couple of weeks is very important to the overall impression of a home.
Get the photos down first...then next comes the Video Tours and Virtual Tours.
