Madison WI and the Real Estate Review- December 2nd 2008
First off I would like to say that it is cold. Not just a bit cold...Very Cold!!! This happens every year to me as well as I think to most people in Madison, WI. The first cold blast of Winter comes in and 20 degree highs (or there abouts) seem like it can't be much colder. Then after a while the 20's seem not so bad. Really! It just takes a week or so to get adjusted and then you get acclimated.
Just a heads up for all of the non Wisconsin (warm weather) readers of this blog. Cold weather not so fun---but once you get adjusted it's really not that bad.
Let's start out these links with a link that I found on Yahoo Answers. Someone is looking to compare Austin, TX and Madison, WI. Seems like too many votes for Austin. Now I am sure Austin is a great place to live but come on Madison fans...this person needs your guidance!

No matter how frigid and snowy this winter gets, it'll be like the tropics compared to how brutal it was last year.
"The snowy apocalypse that had jammed the store with frantic mobs all morning had descended on Madison around the supper hour. Its icy tentacles seized the half dozen misguided souls who couldn’t survive the weekend without their ultra-light organic smokes and free-range chicken as soon as they stepped into the parking lot. They tried to fight back with ice scrapers and obscenities, but the brutal winds of Common Sense scattered them and their groceries all over the East Side as an example to all who underestimated the power of this billowing behemoth." From IVD, a thrilling tale of crazy Cubs fans, mobsters, and Madison
