Village Homes of Six Mile Creek +55 Condos

Village Homes of Six Mile Creek is a +55 condo association located in the heart of Waunakee. These condos are close to shopping, many local churches, and restaurants like Waunakee's own Brian's Diner or the Main Street Diner. Condo Living- Madison Real Estate Style

Recently I was asked this question by a first time home buyer: "What type of amenities do condos offer me?

It really got me to thinking about all of the different options that you can find in a condo in the Madison area. Condo prices currently range from under $60,000 to just over 1.5 million dollars. This morning there were 3,207 condos listed for sale in the SCWMLS (South Central WI MLS). Lot of choices. Lots of options. Some allow pets. Some don't allow pets. Some have private entrances. Others are converted apartment styles with a common entrance. Some have private pools and workout facilities. Some are part of an association of hundreds of condos. Others are converted duplexes with only one other member of their association.

In future posts I will be taking a more detailed look at some of these differences and what it means to you as well as hopefully a closer look at some individual associations.

Fed Meeting June 28th-29th

The Fed raised rates another 1/4 point at their meeting on June 28th-29th. Stocks rallied big time on the news. Many economists think that policy-makers may be nearing the end of the raising rates cycle.
